Michael Chiang, Chairman
Michael Chiang has been Chief Executive Officer of Panion & BF Biotech (Taiwan) for the past 30 years, having formerly been with Bristol Meyer Scripp Inc, Johnson & Johnson and Janssen Pharmaceutical. He has in excess of 30 yearsˇ¦ experience in marketing and sales of pharmaceutical and consumer products.
Winston Town PhD, Chief Executive Officer
Winston Town is a former Senior Vice President of GloboAsia LLC, which provides scientific assistance to applicants seeking regulatory approval for drug development. He has spearheaded seven successful investigational new drug filings with the US Food and Drug Administration and has been consulted on more than ten drug development processes. Dr. Town has an extensive network within Asia and Greater China in sales and marketing. Prior to joining GloboAsia LLC he was with ConAgra International of the US and Hofflinghouse UK, where he was responsible for the development of the marketing and distribution network.
Keith Chan PhD, Chief Scientific Officer
Keith Chan has extensive drug development experience in industry, regulatory and academic areas. He was formerly the co-founder of GloboMax LLC, Head of Clinical Pharmacokinetics and Research Support at Ciba-Geigy and former Divisional Director of the Office of Generic Drug Products at the US Food and Drug Administration. Dr. Chan holds several academic appointments at the University of Minnesota, the University of Maryland, and as a visiting professor at the Shenyang Pharmaceutical University (China) and National Yang-Ming University (Taiwan).
Lee Wu, Chief Financial Officer
Lee Wu has 17 yearsˇ¦ experience in international brokerage and trading of Taiwan-related securities. He obtained MBAs from the National Taiwan University and Drexel University. Prior to joining Panacor he was Executive Vice President and Director of Cathay Securities Corporation, a subsidiary of Cathay Financial Holdings.
James Lin, Executive Director
James Lin has served on the board of Panion & BF Biotech (Taiwan) since it was established in 1976 and is currently the Chairman of Panion & BF Biotech (Taiwan). Upon graduating from the Pharmacy School of Taipei Medical University, Mr. Lin joined as sales representative at Bristol Meyer Scripp Inc. and has served as Chief Pharmacist in two hospitals in Taiwan. With more than 30 years of leading, monitoring and company diversification in the pharmaceutical industry, Mr. Lin will serve as an executive director on the Board.
David Thomas, Non-executive Director
David Thomas is resident in the UK and is an English qualified solicitor. He is a non-executive director of several companies quoted on AIM, all of which have businesses in China. He practised law in London for more than 20 years, specialising in corporate finance, before a period with Beeson Gregory (now Evolution Group plc), a London investment bank and stockbroker, where he was an Executive Director and general counsel until 2002.
Marshall Lin, Non-executive Director
Marshall Lin is currently an advisor to Panion & BF Biotech (Taiwan) and served on the board of that company from 2002 to 2004. With more than 40 years experience in global business, he was the founder and Managing Director of Johnson & Johnson of Taiwan and has served on the top management of many multi-national companies, including as Managing Director of Singer Sewing Machines in South East Asia, Vice Chairman of Tait Marketing and Distribution Co. and as a Director of TransAsia Airways.
